Sidharth Malhotra (born 16 January 1985) is an Indian film actor who appears in Bollywood films. In 2012, Malhotra made his debut in Karan Johar's Student of the Year, which emerged as a box-office success. Sidharth Malhotra became an "overnight sensation" post the release of his debut movie. He was considered a promising newcomer and was praised for his acting and style. He ranked #12 at Times' 50 Most Desirable men of 2012. He was also voted as the most good looking debutant of 2012 by a UK poll. Malhotra went on to become the brand ambassador of Cocacola and Kwality Walls.He shot a Cocacola Ad with Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. He then did a commercial for Kwality Walls with Yami Gautam He also shot for a PETA ad creating awareness about dogs.
Malhotra also appeared on the cover of Filmfare in October 2012 with Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. He then also appeared on the cover of Youth Incorporated and L'Official. In March 2013, he appeared on the cover of Stardust with Parineeti Chopra. In October 2012, he appeared on the cover of Exhibit. He was also noticed by critics and audience alike for his fashion sense. He ultimately was called a "style icon" by several platforms like Bollywood Hungama, Pinkvilla, Koimoi and Indiaglitz. Malhotra is often referred to as one of the handsomest celebrities in India.
